Add your WhatsApp group or channel
Add your WhatsApp group or channel to Share for free. It gets its own page, appears in its category and the latest list, and is also shown on our sister site ShareYourGroup. No sign-up is needed.
Before you add a link
- You must be an admin of the group or channel, or have the admin's permission to share it publicly.
- Choose the category that really fits and write an honest one-line description.
- Do not put phone numbers or other personal details in the description.
- Adult, scam, hate, drugs and betting groups are blocked. See the full list in the Terms of Use.
How to copy your invite link
For a WhatsApp group
- Open the group in WhatsApp and tap the group name at the top.
- Tap Invite to group via link (on some phones: Invite via link). Only admins see this option.
- Tap Copy link. It starts with https://chat.whatsapp.com/.
- Come back here, paste it in the first box, and press Add my group.
For a WhatsApp channel
- Open the Updates tab in WhatsApp and open your channel.
- Tap the channel name to open channel info.
- Tap Share or Channel link, then Copy link. It starts with https://whatsapp.com/channel/.
- Paste it in the first box above and press Add my group.
What happens next
- Your link is checked against our banned-words list. If it passes, it is added to the shared list straight away.
- Share's pages are rebuilt regularly, so your group's own page appears soon after, usually within a day or two.
- Visitors can suggest a better description or vote for a different category; suggestions are reviewed and a category changes after three votes.
- If the invite link is reset or stops working, the listing is removed automatically.
- If the group is reported, it may be hidden or removed while we review it.
Adding the same link many times does not move it up and may get it blocked. To remove your group later, just reset its invite link in WhatsApp.
